Dear friends, colleagues, ISEE Community,
It is our great pleasure to announce that the 33rd Annual Conference of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology / ISEE 2021 will take place on August 23-26, 2021 as an hybrid conference, hosted by Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, New York, United States.
This year, acknowledging the key role of equity and diversity in science as well as recent transitions in the political, social, and environmental climate, the theme of the conference is "Promoting Environmental Health and Equity in a Shifting Climate."
We invite you to be a part of this hybrid meeting and help us shape ISEE’s future together.
Following our experience last year on a virtual platform, we continue the journey to make our conferences greener, more sustainable and more accessible, while fulfilling our society’s mission: to foster epidemiological studies on the effects of environmental exposures on human health, stimulate communication between environmental epidemiologists, exposure experts, and other public health professionals, promote methodological advances, and strengthen environmental health policy.
This year’s annual conference is being planned as hybrid with both virtual and in-person attendance options. Our venue for the in-person component in New York City will be announced soon.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in August 2021, either on our virtual platform or in-person in New York City.
On behalf of the ISEE 2021 Organizing Team
